The Role
As Social media & Content Manager you have a crucial role in developing the Record Union brand and taking our content and social media channels to the next level. The role includes both strategic and operative responsibilities and you will coordinate and manage all social media channels. You will be a part of the MARCOM team and work closely with all the different team members. You will have both individual KPI's and share overall KPI's with the rest of the MARCOM team. You will be based on Record Union's headquarters in Stockholm.

Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.
  • Collaborate with the rest of our marcom team to plan and develop site content.
    Develop and maintain a content calendar for owned channels such as website and socials.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
  • Promote content through social advertising.
  • Convert fans into customers.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written) such as inspirational and educational.
  • Build a newsroom, act as an editor in chief and create several models for user-/community generated content that will be used in our own channels.
  • Ensure brand consistency.
  • Optimize content according to SEO, CR, engagement and customer experience.
  • Use Content Management systems to analyze web traffic and end users engagement metrics.
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic and awareness.
  • Set short and long term strategies for content marketing and ensure that our teams are up to date and work together.

 

Requirements 

  • A proven experience of 3 years+ as a Social media and content manager.
  • Hands on experience with MS Office, Adobe creative suit and WordPress.
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Expert knowledge with social media.
  • Excellent writing skills in English (native or bilingual proficiency).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • BS in Marketing or BS in arts with major in Journalism and mass communication or  equivalent.
  • As a bonus, further education in digital marketing and PR.
  • Extra bonus points if you are or have been active as an artist or a musician.
